The Samsung HZ35W is indeed a great camera with the possibility of telephoto shots without tripod, but it lacks on regard of the GPS system, which functions are not supported, and you will not find any instructions about it. In fact there is a model of Samsung cameras called HZ30W without GPS that it is indeed a great camera, easy to use and efficient and reliable. Moreover this model without GPS cost about one hundred dollars less, and probably it worth the value.

Samsung HZ35W could be fitted with maps, but these should be transferred correctly on an external memory card, such as a micro SD, that must be inserted into the camera. As your camera in linked to your pc, highlight both the files you just downloaded: right click and select copy. Now click on the start button on your computer located in the bottom left corner, the click on My computer options: the computer windows appears and you have to double click the removable disk drive inside the computer window. Now it will appear the removable disk drive.

To save the files to your camera right click on any open area withing the removable disk window and select the command Paste.
